Seemingly inspired by the NBA’s recent, historic scoring binge, Steph Curry decided it was time to welcome himself to the 60-point party. Right at home during a fast-paced, nip-and-tuck affair against the Atlanta Hawks, the former two-time NBA Most Valuable Player put in the second-highest scoring game of his illustrious career as only he could: 3-pointers from every area of the hardwood, subtle attacks to the rim whenever the defense assumed it had cracked the code, and perhaps most impressively, only six free throws. The Golden State Warriors would ultimately be topped in overtime, but not without top-tier theatrics from the 10-time All-Star. Unable to be contained, Curry lit up the scoreboards for 60 points and 10 three-pointers — only the third player in NBA history to hit those two marks — along with six rebounds, four assists, and a block on February 3, 2024.
