Sizing up the effort required to track Stewart in the open court, Hiedeman sprints the length of the floor in hot pursuit then punches a layup attempt out to the baseline. Listed at 5-foot-8, Hiedeman’s unlikely block was one of many heroics in the Connecticut Sun’s Game 1 victory over the New York Liberty in the 2023 semifinals. Hiedeman added 19 points, six rebounds and four assists in the September 24, 2023 matchup for good measure.
