Dejounte Murray

Making his long-awaited return after nearly 13 months recovering from an Achilles injury, Dejounte Murray wasted no time showing he still has his cutting ability. Early in the first quarter against Golden State, the veteran guard read the defense perfectly and made a sharp backdoor cut to the rim. DeAndre Jordan found him with a perfectly timed bounce pass, and Murray finished the reverse layup off the glass for his first points of the season. Murray contributed 13 points and 3 assists in 24 minutes as New Orleans held off the Warriors 113-109 at Smoothie King Center on February 24, 2026.
