Less than a month after he matched his career-high of 46 points, Julius Randle wanted even more. The New York Knicks forward put on a scoring clinic against the Minnesota Timberwolves, getting buckets whenever and however he wanted to. Randle executed multiple fadeaways in the post to pair with catch-and-shoot triples, while also owning the paint with a floater and foul-line pull-up. An All-NBA Third Team selection in 2022-23, Randle had the home crowd buzzing all night — from a strong drive ending in a powerful slam to a highlight-reel step-back 3-pointer over Naz Reid. He shot a blistering 19 of 29 from the field and 8 of 14 behind the arc for a career-best 57 points, the third-highest scoring game in franchise history, on March 20, 2023. Randle averaged a career-high 25.1 points across 77 games, making his second All-Star Game in three years.
