Pledging to bring 100 percent effort on the All-Star stage, Wembanyama gets promptly to work, winning a battle of one-of-a-kinds at the rim by sending Kevin Durant’s layup attempt away. Subtle in his trailing jog, and yet within view of his floor general at once, Wembanyama collects a pass, quickly sequencing his swat with a smooth 3-point bucket. Team Shaq’s OGs would ultimately hold on for a victory, but the San Antonio Spurs’ superstar captivated the crowd nonetheless, recording 11 points (on five-of-seven shooting), three rebounds, one block, and a 3-pointer on February 16, 2025.
