Ariel Atkins

Ariel Atkins picked the perfect time for her first career double-double. With her Washington Mystics missing multiple injured starters, Atkins picked up the slack against the Indiana Fever when she beat Erica Wheeler on a second-quarter drive to her left before punctuating the possession with a running floater from the elbow. Atkins shot 8 of 13 from the field and converted 9 of 10 free throws for 26 points to go with 10 rebounds and three assists in Washington’s 96-88 victory on July 7, 2023.
