NaLyssa Smith concluded her 2022 rookie season with a spot on the WNBA All-Rookie Team. She’s picked up right where she left off in Year 2. The Indiana Fever forward — whose field-goal percentage, points and rebounds per game averages have all increased — showed off her court vision against the Minnesota Lynx while pushing the transition attack and threading a strong bounce pass between multiple defenders to an in-stride Kelsey Mitchell for a possession-capping layup. Smith recorded 12 points, 12 rebounds and two assists for her fourth double-double in seven games as the Fever upended the Lynx 71-69 on June 9, 2023.
