The Atlanta Dream were guests of honor at Rebecca Allen’s block party. Three weeks after registering a career-high five blocks, the Connecticut Sun guard was at it again as she first got in front of Rhyne Howard in the lane and swatted that shot attempt with two hands. When Iliana Rupert grabbed the offensive board, Allen blocked her putback attempt from behind with one hand, which led to a DeWanna Bonner pull-up jumper from just inside the foul line on the other end. Allen tallied 13 points, three rebounds and a career-best six blocks as the Sun prevailed 82-71 on July 20, 2023.
