Fortunately, Satou Sabally, with both a lightning-quick release and a proven track record of immediate excellence, deemed the task manageable. Curling towards the perimeter’s arc for a potential on-the-move 3-pointer, Sabally moves with determination, setting her feet to connect on a trifecta just prior to Alysha Clark’s arrival. Working déjà vu with a near-identical play from the third quarter, Sabally’s catch-and-shoot accuracy helped the Wings survive a fourth period that offered both seven lead changes and seven ties. It ultimately marked one of the Wings’ biggest wins, as they overcame a 13-point deficit — and a 6.3 percent win probability — to upset the Las Vegas Aces.
