With their star player out for the first three games of the series, the Dallas Mavericks instilled a next-man-up mentality against the Utah Jazz. Time and time again, fifth-year forward Maxi Kleber was up for the challenge. Up 99-98 with three minutes remaining and anxiously pushing to avoid dropping two straight at home, Kleber steadies himself along the right baseline, taking advantage of a well-timed drive-and-kick before draining a crowd-igniting three-pointer, one of his eight on the night. Kleber caught fire with 25 points on 8-of-11 from deep, six rebounds, and three assists in the 110-104 victory in Game 2 of the First Round on April 18, 2022.
