Unfamiliar with the term “missed shot” during one of his career’s most staggeringly-accurate shooting exhibits, the supremely-confident sniper enters attack mode, feigning a screen with a brush just subtle enough to incite chaos before elevating into a 3-pointer with limited airspace, ironically supplying the Denver Nuggets with much-needed breathing room. Playing spoiler on a night headlined by his opponent’s historic all-time scoring milestone, Porter Jr. found time to both carve out a victory and grasp a share of history himself. Flawless in accuracy, the reigning NBA champion delivered 25 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block, and five 3-pointers on March 2. 2024. In the process, he became the Association’s first-ever player to attempt 10+ shots from the field and at least five 3-pointers while shooting a perfect 100 percent from both.
