When the already-starpowered New York Knicks signed OG Anunoby to their franchise’s largest guaranteed contract last summer, expectations were that a specific type of excellence would then follow when high-pressure postseason games came about. Alongside holding opposing Celtics to 1-of-15 (6.6 percent) shooting as the primary defender, Anunoby complemented it through 29 points (on 10-of-20 shooting), four rebounds, three assists, one steal, and six 3-pointers on May 5, 2025.
