When a scrum breaks out near halfcourt in a game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Allisha Gray doesn't hesitate to hit the deck, tangling with an opponent on the floor. Marina Mabrey, who sets the commotion in motion, also gives chase after her initial steal, deflecting control back to Gray, who catapults a pass to a teammate while still on the ground. From there, it's a 2-on-0 race to the basket, but not before one final act of teamwork — instead of racing for the open layup herself, Arike Ogunbowale drops it off to Kayla Thornton for the easy bucket in the July 1, 2022 contest.
