The Sacramento Kings returned to the postseason for the first time since 2006 and wouldn't have gotten there without first-time All-Star and All-NBA selection De'Aaron Fox. The sixth-year guard was also named the inaugural winner of the Clutch Player of the Year award after leading his squad to 48 wins and a Pacific Division title. Fox averaged 25.0 points per game and set career-highs in rebounds per game as well as field-goal and free-throw percentage. He and the Kings were part of the second-highest scoring game in history on February 24, a 176-175 double overtime win over the LA Clippers in which Fox scored a season-high 42 points, to go along with 12 assists and five steals. In his first postseason game against the Golden State Warriors on April 15, Fox put up 38 points in a 126-123 win — the second-most points ever scored in a playoff debut.
