Bam Adebayo hardly missed all night, so he certainly did not miss when it mattered most. With his Miami Heat clinging to a one-point lead late in the fourth quarter, Adebayo provided some cushion when Kyle Lowry found him cutting toward the basket. Adebayo took care of the rest when he converted an underhand layup with 21.4 seconds to play despite being defended by the 7-foot-3 Kristaps Porziņģis. Adebayo scored a game-high 38 points on 15 of 22 shooting and also chipped in 12 rebounds and three assists in the Heat’s 110-107 win over the Washington Wizards on November 25, 2022.
