Down by 19 points early in the third quarter, a forgettable night seemed in store for the Charlotte Hornets. Until an unforgettable Terry Rozier-led comeback, that is. Rozier came away with a steal in the defensive end against the Atlanta Hawks and then fired a high-arcing pass the length of the court to an in-transition Jalen McDaniels, who got behind the defense and finished with a layup. Rozier poured in 28 of his game-high 34 points in the second half — along with three rebounds, five assists, four steals and seven 3-pointers — and led the charge in Charlotte’s 122-118 comeback victory on January 21, 2023.
