Everybody deserves a second chance. Naz Reid certainly did, and it won the Minnesota Timberwolves the game. Reid first tried to put the game away late in overtime with a corner 3-pointer, but his shot was off the mark. No worries at all, as the fourth-year center collected his own miss and hammered home an emphatic put-back slam to give Minnesota a five-point lead with eight seconds to play. Reid’s dagger — as well as his 24 points, 13 rebounds and four assists — helped the Timberwolves earn a 119-114 win over the Golden State Warriors on February 1, 2023.
