It’s no easy feat contending with Bol Bol’s insane wingspan, but Simone Fontecchio found a way. The Utah Jazz forward was determined to score even with the 7-foot-2 Bol standing in his way as Fontecchio grabbed a pass from Kris Dunn on the perimeter before taking one dribble and a big step back to bury a baseline jumper over Bol’s outstretched fingers. Fontecchio came off the bench to shoot 5 of 7 for 17 points to pair with two rebounds, two assists and three steals in Utah’s 131-124 victory over the Orlando Magic on March 9, 2023.
