After earning a spot on the 2022 NBA All-Rookie First Team, Franz Wagner has taken even bigger steps forward in Year 2. Having helped turn an eight-point deficit entering the fourth quarter into a two-point lead in the final minute of play, Wagner put the game against the LA Clippers out of reach when he buried a gutsy stepback 3-pointer from the top of the key. Wagner — whose scoring average jumped three-plus points to 18.6 points per game in his sophomore season — posted 20 points, four rebounds and four assists in the Orlando Magic’s 113-108 road victory on March 18, 2023.
