The up-and-coming Sacramento Kings are playing exciting basketball again, and newcomer Malik Monk is right at the center of the fun. The sixth-year guard has served as a spark plug off the Kings’ bench, and it was easy to decipher why when the Cleveland Cavaliers came to town. Thanks to an unselfish, one-handed laser pass from teammate Domantas Sabonis, Monk finds himself in the perfect spot to pull off an athletic up-and-under reverse layup despite having two defenders right on top of him. Monk’s 14 points, two rebounds and five assists were a major catalyst in Sacramento’s 127-120 win on November 9, 2022.
