Mitchell Robinson hosted a late-October block party at Madison Square Garden, and all of the Charlotte Hornets were cordially invited. Charlotte’s Jalen McDaniels decides to take a run at Robinson, driving hard to the basket only to be met at the rim by the New York Knicks center, who rejects the basketball with such force that it careens into the front row. A fired up Mitchell made all four of his field goal attempts for nine points, eight rebounds, six blocks and an assist, helping the Knicks outlast the Hornets 134-131 in the October 26, 2022 overtime battle.
