It’s not difficult to understand why, given Caldwell-Pope is now playing with the Denver Nuggets and two-time MVP Nikola Jokić. Against the Oklahoma City Thunder, Jokić is confronted by a double team, forcing the gifted distributor to sling a cross-court bounce pass to Caldwell-Pope in the corner for a triple that would turn into a four-point play.
