That is until a trailing Watson perfectly anticipated Curry’s move and skied high to land an emphatic rejection off the backboard, which preserved Denver’s lead with 2:34 to play. The Warriors ended the game on a 9-0 run, with Watson’s clutch block serving as the ultimate difference maker in his squad’s 112-110 win on April 2, 2023. The 30th overall pick in the draft contributed eight points, five rebounds and three blocks in the winning effort.
