Malik Beasley

As Malik Beasley has quickly discovered, being teammates with LeBron James and Anthony Davis has its advantages. In his fourth game with the Los Angeles Lakers after being acquired in a trade from the Utah Jazz, Beasley was the beneficiary of contributions from the two superstars. First, Davis blocked a Golden State Warriors shot before James scooped it up and led the break the other way. James found an in-transition Beasley all alone in the corner, and the seventh-year guard fooled his defender with a pump fake before knocking down the triple. Beasley posted a team-high 25 points on 7 of 11 from downtown while adding three rebounds and steals each in his new squad’s 124-111 victory on February 23, 2023.
