Dwight Powell

Good things come to those who wait. Dwight Powell had played only seven minutes in the first four games of the 2022-23 Dallas Mavericks season before he was tabbed to start the fifth against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Powell made the most of his opportunity, playing pick-and-roll with Luka Dončić and soaring into the air to catch and slam an underhanded alley-oop flick pass from his superstar teammate. Powell scored 13 points in 18 minutes while also grabbing two rebounds in the October 29, 2022 contest.
