Playing with raised confidence against the San Antonio Spurs, Nowell takes a pass at the top of the key and immediately turns on the jets toward the basket before taking flight and throwing down a backboard-shaking slam. The fourth-year reserve guard made a tremendous impact, tallying 23 points, four rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes off the bench in Minnesota’s 134-122 victory on October 26, 2022.
