Utah Jazz, beware — Joel Embiid is a one-man wrecking crew. The Philadelphia 76ers center did it all to sink the Jazz as he showed off enviable handles and footwork for a man his size on multiple dribble drives that ended in layups while also connecting on a slew of difficult fadeaways. The six-time All-Star also played game-changing defense with emphatic blocks on Kelly Olynyk and Collin Sexton and proved to be an unselfish teammate on a heads-up kick out to Tyrese Maxey for an open 3-pointer. Embiid exploded for a career-best 59 points, making 19 of 28 field goals and 20 of 24 free throws to pair with 11 rebounds, eight assists and seven blocks — the first 50-10-5-5 game in NBA history. The 59 points were fifth-most in franchise history, and Embiid’s third career 50-point game included him scoring 26 of Philly’s 27 fourth quarter points in the 105-98 triumph on November 13, 2022.
