De’Aaron Fox left little doubt as to why he was named a first-time All-Star in 2023. When a pair of his Sacramento Kings teammates trapped Luka Dončić just across halfcourt, Fox flashed into the frame to swipe Dončić’s pass before finishing the subsequent fast break with a thunderous one-handed throwdown. Fox made 12 field goals and free throws each en route to a game-high 36 points to go with four rebounds, five assists and three steals as the Kings dispatched the Dallas Mavericks 133-128 in overtime on February 11, 2023.
