Dejounte Murray

With a possible playoff berth getting closer on the horizon, Dejounte Murray came up clutch when he needed to most. A determined Murray — who has not played in the postseason since 2018 — delivered for the Atlanta Hawks when a second-chance opportunity landed in his lap following Trae Young’s missed driving layup. Locked in an isolation battle with Caris LeVert after coming up with a steal, Murray buried a fall-away jumper to give his squad a four-point lead with under a minute to play. Murray continued to come up huge in his first season with the Hawks, posting a team-high 29 points along with four rebounds, five assists and two steals in his squad’s 120-118 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 28, 2023.
