Walker Kessler

Walker Kessler spent two weeks with the Minnesota Timberwolves but never played a game there. For one night, the Utah Jazz rookie showed Minnesota what it was missing. After acquiring Kessler on draft night following his selection by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 22nd pick, the Timberwolves traded him to Utah in exchange for Rudy Gobert. The 7-footer dominated Minnesota inside as he scratched and clawed his way to one of his nine offensive rebounds before scoring on a put-back. Kessler posted 20 points, 21 rebounds, four assists and two blocks in the 126-125 Utah win on January 16, 2023, becoming the first rookie since 2014 to register a 20-20 game.
