McCollum’s first bucket of the final frame was a three-pointer that put his squad up by 15 until a 12-0 Dallas Mavericks run made it a one-possession game. Refusing to let his team lose, McCollum went nuclear in the final four minutes — a foul-line pull up, three straight triples including one off a nasty crossover that fools Davis Bertans and a driving floater with under a minute to play that put the game out of reach. McCollum scored 16 straight down the stretch for the Pelicans and a game-high 32 overall to pair with five rebounds, five assists and six treys in the thrilling 113-106 win on March 8, 2023.
