With his Phoenix Suns holding a 3-1 series lead, the three-time Phoenix Suns All-Star went off in quarter three of Game 5 of the First Round, picking apart the Clippers’ defense from all three levels. Booker converted multiple floaters, runners and dunks from close range, knocked down a couple from midrange and connected on 3 of his 4 3-pointers in the quarter. Booker shot 10 for 11 for a 25-point third period, out-scoring the entire Clippers team by a point. For the game, he was 19 for 27 for 47 points and also had eight rebounds and 10 assists in the 136-130 closeout win on April 25, 2023, setting up a Western Conference Semifinals battle with the top-seeded Denver Nuggets.
