Pressed into starting duty, the second-year guard stepped up in a big way, taking a pass in the corner before making his move toward the basket and throwing down a ferocious slam. Murphy III made all eight of his field-goal attempts — including four triples — as well as both free throws en route to 22 points and five rebounds in his squad’s exciting 113-111 win on October 25, 2022.
