Who can apply?
Any NBA Top Shot community member or group is eligible to apply for funding.
How long does the review process take?
We aim to review applications within 2 weeks.
Can I apply for multiple events?
Yes, you can submit multiple applications, but each will be assessed on its own merit.
How will the funds be delivered?
Funds will be provided as Top Shot Credit, which is easily transferred and withdrawn.
What are the reporting requirements?
Grant recipients will be required to submit a brief report on how the funds were used and the outcomes of the event.
What metrics will NBA Top Shot track to evaluate the success of events funded by the Community Grants Program?
Metrics will vary by event but may include new user sign-ups, reactivated users, in-person and virtual event participation, unique active users, QR code scans, and feedback scores. These metrics help us gauge impact, and grant recipients will report on relevant KPIs to demonstrate their event’s contribution to community growth or engagement.
