Forced to play catch-up after his teammate’s transition pass arrives with too much mustard, Booker breaks into a full-on sprint, preserving the possession through an over-the-torso save that soars through the air and into his teammate’s hands. Promptly rewarded for his tireless hustle, Booker — still spry and energetic — uses a decisive first step to pry through the lane before balancing into a rainbow skyhook shot, extending the Phoenix Suns’ opening half lead. The Minnesota Timberwolves’ late-game rally would eventually give them the last laugh, but Booker’s offensive showcase went unbothered, as he produced 28 points (on 11-of-19 shooting), four rebounds, eight assists, and two 3-pointers.
