Coming off a Game 2 First Round win where they shot .541 from the field, Porter Jr. and company one-upped themselves against the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 3. With the Nuggets leading by nine with just over a minute to play, Porter Jr. put the game on ice and Minnesota on the ropes when he buried an open corner 3-pointer off a feed from Nikola Jokić. It was the team-leading fourth triple of the night for Porter Jr., who finished with 25 points on 10 of 17 shooting along with nine rebounds in the 120-111 victory on April 21, 2023. The Nuggets took a 3-0 series lead thanks to a sizzling .571 team mark from the field.
