Jimmy Butler has turned the 2023 postseason into his own personal playground — and he’s showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. With the Miami Heat holding a 2-1 series advantage over the New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals, Butler helped his squad take a commanding lead with a dominant performance on both ends of the court. Following a missed Kevin Love 3-pointer and Bam Adebayo putback, the Knicks looked to seize momentum on the counterattack until Butler thwarted Quentin Grimes’ dunk attempt with a monumental second-quarter rejection. Butler’s team-high 27 points and 10 assists, along with six rebounds, two steals and two blocks, led the Heat to an enormous 109-101 Game 4 victory on May 8, 2023.
