With his backcourt mate Darius Garland doing the lion’s share of the scoring, Donovan Mitchell was happy to step into the role of facilitator. With his Cleveland Cavaliers trailing the New York Knicks 1-0 in their First Round series, Mitchell aggressively attacked on a dribble drive into the lane before spotting Cedi Osman for a wide-open corner triple. An All-Star in four straight seasons, Mitchell showed he can impact the game in a multitude of ways as he posted 17 points and a game-high 13 assists in Cleveland’s 107-90 victory Game 2 win on April 18, 2023.
