Karl-Anthony Towns

With his team’s season on the brink, Karl-Anthony Towns did everything in his power to keep the Minnesota Timberwolves in the fight. With his squad trailing by four points late in the final quarter in Game 5 of the First Round against the Denver Nuggets, Towns put his toughness on display as he put the ball on the floor with a strong take to the hole and converted a driving layup while drawing a continuation foul on Jamal Murray. Although the Nuggets advanced with a 4-1 series victory, Towns scored 21 of his 26 points during a monster second half while adding 11 rebounds and three assists on April 25, 2023.
