Step one for Klay Thompson: beat the buzzer. Step two: beat the Sacramento Kings to even their First Round playoff series. The defending champions did not fold when they lost the first two games in Sacramento, instead relying on their stable of playoff-tested veterans to right the ship. Thompson did just that when he buried a catch-and-shoot triple to beat the third quarter buzzer, one of four 3-pointers in Game 4 for the four-time champion. Thompson scored 26 points on an efficient 9 of 15 shooting while adding two rebounds and three assists in the 126-125 Golden State Warriors victory on April 23, 2023.
