In battling through an illness, an off-shooting night, and a remarkable effort from the plucky Detroit Pistons, it turned out that an opportunity at a game-winning shot was exactly what the doctor prescribed for Paolo Banchero. Deadlocked in a tie game with just a dozen seconds remaining, the newly-named All-Star searches for a move to free himself for the dagger. Left to quickly consider a Plan B after Jalen Duren plays his stepback tightly, Banchero remains focused, centering himself through contact before finding the bottom of the net on a clutch and-one jumper. Unfazed after a defender gets his hand on a pass, Milwaukee Bucks rookie Andre Jackson Jr. returns the favor with an interception of his own, then finds a teammate in the corner for the first assist of his NBA career.
