Putting the ball in the hoop against an NBA defense is tough enough under the best of circumstances, racking up points in the Finals against an embattled core of three-time champions dedicated to shutting down your every move is borderline impossible. Checked on the perimeter by a mismatch, Boston Celtics forward Jayson Tatum takes advantage of the opportunity, heads straight to the rack, then contorts his body mid-air to get a layup attempt off around the outstretched arms of Golden State Warriors veteran Draymond Green. Tatum put up 26 points, six rebounds and nine assists in the Game 3 victory on June 8, 2022.

Few visuals hit quite like Klay Thompson cuing up for a triple in front of a raucous Golden State Warriors bench in the Chase Center. After far too long on the sidelines recovering from injury, the iconic deep threat picks up right where he left off in the 2019 NBA Finals, sending one Boston Celtics defender flying into the stands with a pump fake, then drilling a bullseye from the corner in a pivotal Game 5 matchup. Thompson finished the June 13, 2022 contest with 21 points on 5-of-11 shooting from beyond the arc.

Up late in a critical Game 3 matchup of a tied series, the Boston Celtics star hounds Klay Thompson, pressuring the Golden State Warriors wing every step of the way through an offensive possession, culminating in an emphatic rejection straight out to the baseline as the TD Garden faithful rejoice. In addition to the dramatic block, Brown put up 27 points, nine rebounds and five assists in the June 8, 2022 victory.

James showcases his world-class athleticism by sneaking backdoor on a cut, turning teammate Malik Monk’s lob into a reverse alley-oop slam to send the crowd into a frenzy. The Toronto Raptors rookie flashes his do-it-all talent in this possession, taking his defender off the dribble, getting to his spot inside the paint and floating a lefty finish that finds the bottom of the net. The pressure of your first NBA bucket can be immense — especially when you’re the first overall pick. Detroit Pistons 2021 draftee Cade Cunningham catches a pass at the arc and immediately blows by his defender and through the lane to lay one in with his left. Detroit walked away with the win in the rookie’s NBA debut on October 30, 2021.

In one of the first Moments to be selected by the community in Top Shot history, Evan Mobley shows off his multi-dimensional skill set, which has Cavs fans rightfully excited for the future. The 7-footer has a knack for finishing uncanny plays - Mobley makes a strong gather off a Darius Garland dish and hangs through contact to finish his first career and-one.

There are three-point shooters who change games, and three-point shooters who change the game. Steph Curry is definitively the latter. In a home opener to kick off another potential MVP season, the Golden State Warriors guard pushes the ball up the court and heaves it to a teammate in the corner. Curry then chases his own pass and calls for the ball back to sink a high-flying, catch-and-shoot triple. The seven-time All-Star hit his first 10 field goals of the night on October 21, 2021, while pouring in 25 of his 45 points in the first quarter alone.

There’s a bright future for rookies with elite creativity on the court. In his NBA debut with the Houston Rockets, first-year guard Jalen Green sprints to catch a pass near the perimeter and continues toward the hoop as several defenders mark him. Meeting Minnesota Timberwolves star center Karl-Anthony Towns at the rim, Green goes up and under in midair for an acrobatic reverse layup - the first bucket of his career - on October 20, 2021.

Just weeks into his NBA career, Josh Giddey has NBA fans and superstars alike buzzing about his movement of the ball. In his first regular season game with the Oklahoma City Thunder, the rook demonstrates masterful handles, simultaneously losing his defender and drawing two more before floating the rock to a teammate for a layup. In addition to his smooth maneuvers on the court, Giddey locked in 10 rebounds in his debut on October 20, 2021.

Making an impact on a playoff-hopeful squad is no easy feat for a rookie — just don’t tell that to Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga. In his NBA debut, the 7th overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, catches a behind-the-back bounce pass from teammate Juan Toscano-Anderson and steps back behind the arc to launch a confident three for his first-career bucket. Kuminga walked away with a Warriors win and the game ball on October 30, 2021.

There’s nothing quite like that first-ever bucket in the NBA. For Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves, that moment required a little creativity. Here, against the Phoenix Suns, Reaves punishes an overaggressive closeout before snaking his way into the middle of the lane for a high-arcing leaner over the outstretched arms of a defender. Reaves was efficient, scoring eight points in just 12 minutes in his debut game on October 22, 2021.

Make no mistake, Steph Curry can get it done from anywhere on the court. Identifying a gap in the Dallas Mavericks zone, Curry carves his way straight to the rim, slicing through the paint and finishing through his defender with a clutch up-and-under finger roll off glass. After the whistle, Curry beats his chest in triumph with long-time running mate Klay Thompson. Curry led the Golden State Warriors in the Game 1 victory on May 20, 2022 with 32 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Though only a rookie, Moses Moody is fearless in his attack. Despite a hard close out by All-Star Anthony Davis, Moody turned the tables with a strong baseline drive en route to a layup for his first NBA points.

Franz Wagner can throw it down, as proven early and often in his young career. The Orlando Magic rookie catches a pass outside the arc and battles his way to the cup for a thunderous one-handed slam. Wagner went for 12 points in his NBA debut on October 20, 2021.

When Luka Dončić sets out with his mind set on scoring, there isn’t a defensive scheme capable of getting into his way. Dribbling down court with just five seconds remaining, Dončić moves through an obstacle course of Golden State Warriors defenders with behind-the-backs and spins before easing into his shooting motion to calmly drain a 32-foot triple to beat the buzzer. In their first Western Conference Finals appearance since 2011, Dončić put on a show for the Dallas Mavericks home crowd, finishing with 40 points, 11 rebounds, four triples, three assists and two blocks on May 22, 2022.

Leave a rookie wide open in the paint and that decision just might blow up in your face. Houston Rockets first-year big man Alperen Şengün follows a teammate’s high-flying three attempt and, unguarded, levitates to emphatically jam it home as it bounces off the rim. The former high school quarterback turned top-5 NBA draft pick wards off Dejounte Murray with a devastating behind-the-back dribble and pulls-up into a silky smooth trey.

Luka Dončić coming off of a pick-and-roll is the last thing you want to see when playing the Dallas Mavericks. In a play typically saved for All-Star weekend, Dončić freezes the defense with a behind-the-back combo straight into a cross-court pass, finding Kristaps Porzingis for a crucial three-pointer on the left wing. Dončić led the way with 26 points, 14 assists and seven rebounds during the Mavericks’ 116-106 triumph over the Houston Rockets on October 26, 2021.

Can't stop him, can only hope to contain him! Minnesota has all hands on deck trying to deter reigning NBA Finals MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo, who instead takes only a few motions to gather, hang & hammer home his own miss.

The ability to make tough shots cannot be taught. Denver Nuggets rookie Bones Hyland shows no fear in going 1-on-1 with his defender and puts on a series of moves, hesitations and fakes. Despite stout defense, Hyland still converts a leaning, one-handed fadeaway going left. That’s tough. The bucket counted for two of Hyland’s seven points off the bench in his NBA debut on October 25, 2021.

With elite bucket-getting abilities, Brooklyn Nets guard Cam Thomas has proven he’s no average rookie. With the fate of his team in his hands, Thomas attacks a hard closeout before calmly draining a game-winning, one-legged leaner to defeat the San Antonio Spurs. Thomas chipped in 11 points and six rebounds in the 121-119 overtime win on January 9, 2022.

Like clockwork, Primo collects the pass, steps into his shot, then releases over the defense for his first points in his NBA debut on October 20, 2021.

When you’re playing an NBA game in front of your hometown, you’d better be ready to put on a show. Jose Alvarado proves up to the challenge, putting the New York Knicks’ defense through a game of hide-and-seek. He uses a sharp behind-the-back before weaving through traffic and finishing with a fancy around-the-rim finish. Alvarado made good on his homecoming with an efficient 13-point, four-assist, four-steal performance in a 102-91 win for the New Orleans Pelicans on January 20, 2022.

Homegrown buckets hit different. In his NBA regular season debut, Chicago Bulls rookie guard Ayo Dosunmu goes on a tear for not one but two transition layups. The Chicago native and University of Illinois star wasted no time making an impact on October 20, 2021.

Klay Thompson may be one of the most feared shooters in NBA history, but he’s got other facets to his game he can contribute with as well. He showcases one here, leaking out on a fastbreak and facing a drive before dropping off a behind-the-back dish to a teammate for a score. Thompson played an all-around offensive game with 15 points, six assists and three triples in a 130-92 win over the Dallas Mavericks on January 25, 2022.

Forget everything you know about conventional basketball when Nikola Jokić hits the floor. The mesmerizing Denver Nuggets center defies positional norms yet again on January 7, 2022, seamlessly carrying the rock the length of the floor against the Sacramento Kings, then hitting JaMychal Green in stride with a casual no-look, one-handed entry feed. Jokić finished with 33 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists in the win.

Pressure defense doesn't faze Jayson Tatum. The Boston Celtics star puts on a dribbling clinic in a series of maneuvers before losing his defender with a quick spin move and explosive finish at the hoop. Ball on a string. Tatum finished with 20 points in the November 1, 2021 contest against the Chicago Bulls.

Some rookies are just fearless from the jump. In his first regular season game with the Indiana Pacers, Chris Duarte attempts to lose his defender with a sidestep and a pump fake. With his man still on him and seconds left on the clock, Duarte pulls up for a jumper and beats the buzzer to nail a three, capping off an 11 point quarter. He shined in his debut with 27 points and five rebounds on October 20, 2021.

Rookie forward Jalen Johnson has the tools to be a problem in this league for years. The Atlanta Hawks fanbase gets a small glimpse of that potential as the Duke product drains a triple from the top of the key in his NBA regular season debut.

Oklahoma City Thunder rookie guard Tre Mann assesses a fully-set Utah Jazz defense and, rolling around a screen, finds himself matched up with three-time Defensive Player of the Year Rudy Gobert. With time fast expiring in the first quarter, Mann fearlessly takes one step toward the basket then steps back to sink a long jumper over Gobert’s outstretched arm in his NBA debut on October 20, 2021.

If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Dallas Mavericks guard Reggie Bullock provides a lesson in persistence here, missing on his first three-point attempt before draining it on his second chance to send the crowd into a frenzy with a clutch bucket. Bullock had a highlight game with 20 points, four rebounds and four triples to help his squad outlast the Philadelphia 76ers in a 107-98 win on February 4, 2022.

No matter the matchup, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards has proven he’s confident he can score in any situation. Despite giving up size in an isolation against a Denver Nuggets big, Edwards takes him for a dance, working a mix of between-the-legs, in-and-out crossovers and hesitations before getting enough space to drain a stepback three-pointer. That was the story of the night, as Edwards exploded for 38 points, 10 three-pointers and five rebounds in a 124-107 win on December 15, 2021.

When two-way star Jaylen Brown gets a head of steam to the basket, defenses across the league would be smart to heed the advice of the commentators that night: “Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt.” Eyeing a chance to put the finishing touches on a dominant, 93-80 road win in Game 5, Brown finds a free lane to the rim and flies out of a cannon for an explosive one-handed jam. Helping get his team within one game of the NBA Finals, Brown poured in 25 points, five three-pointers, four rebounds, one steal and one block on May 25, 2022. 

If you’re planning to suit up for the San Antonio Spurs, you’d better know a thing or two about smart ball movement. Catching the Orlando Magic sleeping on defense, big man Jock Landale shows off his IQ and vision, dropping a nifty dime to a teammate on a backdoor cut in his debut game on October 20, 2021.

Golden State Warriors center Kevon Looney flies in to corral a deflected rebound and has the presence of mind to finish a difficult layup, to help the Warriors take the lead, with under 14 seconds left to play. Looney had a strong outing in Golden State’s 102-100 victory over the Indiana Pacers on December 13, 2021 with 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists and a game-winning putback.

When you’re a rookie representing your hometown, the pressure can get to you. Just don’t tell that to 2021 Toronto Raptors draftee Dalano Banton. In his regular season debut, the Toronto native pulls up from halfcourt for three points... and his first ever NBA bucket.

First-year Miami Heat center Omer Yurtseven catches a pass, backs his defender down toward the low post, then suddenly spins into a silky jumper with the poise of a vet. The rookie had eight points and three boards in his NBA debut – a victory over the reigning champion Milwaukee Bucks – on October 21, 2022.

From a professional baseball player to a Slam Dunk Contest participant to a knockdown three-point shooter, 29-year old Pat Connaughton has had quite the career path. In a game against the young Indiana Pacers, Connaughton runs the break before receiving a lead bounce pass from teammate Grayson Allen and finishes off the transition with an easy dunk. The veteran guard came to play, dropping 20 points in a 114-99 win on December 15, 2021.

Hell hath no fury like Jimmy Butler in the NBA playoffs. Fired up in the midst of a dominant third-quarter run in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Butler dials in for the postseason battle as only he can. After picking off an errant Boston Celtics pass and converting on the other end for two points, Butler returns down the court only to pick off a second steal and cap off the exchange with a two-handed flush. Butler’s squad would hold on for the first W of the series, while the All-Star swingman himself finished the May 17, 2022 contest with 41 points, nine rebounds, five assists, three blocks and four steals.

With his 37-inch vertical, 7-foot-5 wingspan and spirited play style, there are few things Indiana Pacers big Isaiah Jackson can’t do athletically. Creeping into the lane on a pick-and-roll, Jackson shows the San Antonio Spurs what that means, taking a pocket pass and rising up for a ferocious contact jam in traffic. Jackson’s boxscore showed his potential, with 15 points, five rebounds and two blocks in a 119-108 win on March 12, 2022.

It’s hard to disrupt the smooth, even-keeled approach Memphis Grizzlies guard Desmond Bane brings to the table. Bane rips through his defender on the perimeter and reverses back with a spin dribble into a driving slam with one hand. Memphis’s talented second-year guard scored 29 points and pulled down nine boards in the team’s 97-90 victory over the Dallas Mavericks on December 4, 2021.

Don’t underestimate a rookie with something to prove in their NBA debut. On the road against the Portland Trail Blazers on October 27, 2021, Memphis Grizzlies first-year forward Santi Aldama collects a pass with no one near him. With nothing but time, Aldama makes the Portland defense pay with a high-flying triple on October 27, 2021.

Whether it’s in the paint among the giants or along the perimeter against shooters, when it’s postseason basketball, few can quarterback a defense the way Draymond Green can. Setting the tone for a dominant defensive effort in Game 1, the former Defensive Player of the Year shows both athleticism and smarts, flying from one side of the court to the deep corner, blocking away a Dallas Mavericks three-point attempt, helping the Golden State Warriors open a 10-point first-quarter lead. Green’s box score was predictably versatile, with 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block in a sizable win on May 18, 2022.

Sitting in the corner and ready to fire away, the Oklahoma City Thunder swingman takes advantage of a late closeout by the Brooklyn Nets, catching a no-look pass and draining a three-pointer in one motion on November 14, 2021.

Despite often being among the biggest players on the court, Bam Adebayo becomes a defensive cheat code through his ability to defend anything 1-through-5. Matching a Boston Celtics guard step-by-step on the way to the basket, the Miami Heat center stretches out and pins a shot attempt in between the backboard and the rim for a demonstrative rejection. Helping propel the 118-107 win in Game 1 on May 17, 2022, Adebayo hosted his very own block party with a game-high four rejections to go along with 10 points and four rebounds.

The Brooklyn Nets found a hidden gem with Kessler Edwards in the second round of the 2021 NBA Draft - he’s a perfect fit as a 3-and-D player off the bench. In his NBA debut, Edwards receives a pass on the wing and calmly squares up for a three ball from the elbow. Showing no mercy with his team up 27 in Game 4, the multifaceted big man defends along the perimeter, keeping just enough pace with a slashing Miami Heat guard, before sending his reverse layup into the first row with a crowd-rocking block. The five-time All-Star needed only two shots to put an imprint on the 102-82 victory to tie the series, with five points, 13 rebounds, three assists and four blocks on May 23, 2022.

Get stuck defending Jalen Brunson in an isolation, and it’s only a matter of time before you’re in the air watching him put the ball through the net. Exploiting an ambitious Golden State Warriors rookie on defense, Brunson pumps the brakes on a hard right-side drive, allowing him a free path to a smooth floater. The third-quarter bucket helped open up a 62-47 halftime edge. With his Dallas Mavericks fighting to keep their season alive in Game 4, the shifty combo guard stepped up to the challenge with 15 points, five rebounds, five assists and one block in a 119-109 victory on May 24, 2022.

Calling his own number, the All-Star big man decides to work a rhythm dribble before calmly draining a stepback three-pointer in traffic. Embiid made history during the 123-110 win over the Orlando Magic on January 19, 2022, dropping in 50 points in just 27 minutes, the fastest in NBA history.

The road team wants nothing more than to silence the home crowd in a tense moment. Robert Williams III did just that after diving hard to the basket, hammering home a lob from Jayson Tatum. Williams III tallied a double-double of 12 points & 16 rebounds (to go along with 3 blocks) in Boston's 140-129 double overtime shootout in Charlotte on October 25, 2021.

See an open lane and take it. With defensive attention zeroed in on Golden State Warriors teammate Steph Curry, versatile big man Draymond Green finds a clear path to the cup. It doesn’t take more than a split second for Green to decide what he wants to do: one hard dribble, two big steps and one monster hammer up and over the defense. Green registered a well-rounded line of eight points, eight boards and five dimes in the November 5, 2021 win over the visiting New Orleans Pelicans.

Even if you throw a couple of defenders at Boston Celtics All-Star Jayson Tatum, he’s still likely to drop a bucket on you. Tatum is met by multiple players beyond the three-point line, splits the screen with a left-handed dribble, gets in the lane and goes up for a powerful, two-handed slam. Tatum had one of the most complete outings of his career against the Washington Wizards on January 23, 2022, dropping a season-high 51 points along with 10 rebounds and seven assists. 

Hustle your way back to break up a transition play and, more often than not, great things will happen. Showing off his relentless motor, Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams speeds back on defense, pins a Denver Nuggets shot against the glass and saves an easy score. Williams chipped in eight points, two triples and a pair of blocks, his hustle plays proving critical in a 108-102 win on February 11, 2022.

If there's a lane to the basket, DeMar DeRozan is going to find it. The Chicago Bulls swingman puts his slashing ability on display in the waning seconds of a quarter against the Los Angeles Lakers, first blowing past his man out at the perimeter, picking up steam on his way through the paint, then finishing around the outstretched arms of a help-side defender. DeRozan put up 38 points in the road victory on November 15, 2021.

Tyler Herro does not shy away from the big Moments. The Miami Heat guard has zero hestiation in getting to his spot, taking his defender off the dribble, then hitting him with a stepback triple. Nothing but bottom. Herro chipped in with a team-high 30 points off the bench.

Draymond Green’s greatest contributions cannot be quantified in a box score but that doesn’t make it any less profound when he takes the ball to the rack. Granted an opportunity to make the Boston Celtics defense pay for underestimating the threat he poses, Green baits his opponent with a fake dribble hand-off before splitting to the rim himself for an emphatic two-handed jam. Green finished the June 13, 2022 contest with eight points, seven rebounds, six assists and a critical Game 5 victory.

The only thing more difficult than defending Kyrie Irving and his handle in the halfcourt? Trying to contain him on a fastbreak without a set defense. The Brooklyn Nets star guard shows off his defense-to-offense skills, snagging an errant pass and taking it coast-to-coast with a smooth finish against the Charlotte Hornets. Irving was a walking highlight on both ends on March 8, 2022, with 50 points on just 19 shots, six assists, a steal and a block in the 132-121 win.

Houston Rockets rookie Usman Garuba flashes his defensive court awareness and athleticism, switching onto the ball handler, then recovering back to his man to swat away a dunk attempt. Miami is known for momentum-shifting plays. Bam Adebayo ignites the break with a feed to Tyler Herro, who lofts the perfect set up for Jimmy Butler's signature, two-handed slam. Jimmy finished with 36 points and 5 steals in the 107-90 victory against Orlando.

Dallas Mavericks big Maxi Kleber isn’t known for his above-the-rim game but with a free path down the lane defenses are at his mercy. Here, he takes off as a roll man in a pick-and-roll and snags a lob for an athletic one-handed slam. Kleber had nine points, five rebounds and four assists against the Phoenix Suns on January 20, 2022.

Lonzo Ball’s activity as a defender gives him a nice edge as a playmaker on the other end - when he gets out and runs, it’s usually followed by a perfect dime. Ball snatches the rock out of mid-air, rushes down the court with a couple of bounces, then drops a no-look, between-the-legs pass to a trailing Zach LaVine for the smooth finish. The Chicago Bulls guard finished with nine points, six rebounds, five assists and three steals in a January 9, 2022 matchup with the Dallas Mavericks.

It hasn’t taken long for Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey’s offensive brilliance to earn the utmost respect from NBA defenses. Here, Maxey uses it to his advantage, drawing in a Detroit Pistons defender on a 3-on-1 fastbreak before whipping a behind-the-back pass to set up teammate Tobias Harris for a jam. Maxey had 16 points on just eight shots, and chipped in six rebounds and six assists in a 110-102 win on October 28, 2021.

Now just where did that man go? Toronto Raptors star Fred VanVleet gives Brooklyn Nets stars Patty Mills and James Harden windburn as he slips past their clutches like a ghost in the night. To top it all off, he drives to the basket, finishing a beautiful layup around the enormous outstretched arms of Kevin Durant. It’s yet another prime example of why VanVleet became an All-Star for the first time this season. The Raptors guard had 21 points and eight assists on November 7, 2021.

If there’s any opportunity for a lob, Los Angeles Lakers veteran center DeAndre Jordan will find a way to convert. This time, he initiates things with a head-nod and quick feed to Russell Westbrook, follows up with an even quicker dive to the rim and receives a beautiful return feed for his patented right-handed oop. DJ’s slam was part of a big night against the Charlotte Hornets on November 8, 2021.

When Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox is in attack mode, he commands a defense’s utmost attention. Fox uses that reputation to his advantage, getting an Oklahoma City Thunder big to leave his feet before taking to the rim, drawing in the entire defense, and skipping it back out to set up a teammate for a wide-open triple. Fox handled business with 29 points, 10 assists and two steals in a 131-110 victory on February 28, 2022.

If you get caught in a screen-and-roll against the Phoenix Suns, be prepared to give up some points, one way or another. Deandre Ayton shows one of those ways, rolling to the basket and slamming in a rim-shaking putback jam off a teammate’s miss. Since joining the Toronto Raptors, Gary Trent Jr. has taken his game to an entirely new level. With the clock winding down, he shows off one of his tricks, taking a handoff pass before dribbling into a cold-blooded, one-legged deep three-pointer at the buzzer. Trent Jr. had threes in abundance against the Atlanta Hawks on January 31, 2022, finishing with 31 points, six rebounds and nine triples in a 106-100 victory.

Anfernee Simons is a hooper. The third-year Portland Trail Blazers guard knows how to set up his defender with the rock in his hands. Simons hits a crossover going right, splits the defense and finishes a tough, contested runner that finds nothing but bottom. Simons poured in 17 points off the pine in the November 1, 2021 matchup against the Philadelphia 76ers.

More known for his world-class, dead-eye shooting from deep, Portland Trail Blazers All-Star guard Damian Lillard has to get creative to score past the 6-foot-8 Paul George. Channeling his inner post scorer, he pumps the brakes, spins, then lays out for an up-and-under. Lillard went for 27 points on November 9, 2021.

Ever a threat to unleash a soul-destroying poster, Andrew Wiggins’ aerial game has evolved to be so much more. Barrelling down the pipe with momentum against a late-adjusting Boston Celtics defense, the budding Golden State Warriors star leaps into traffic, evades the outstretched arms of Robert Williams III and lays in a tough bucket amidst an unforgettable Game 5 performance. Wiggins racked up 26 points and 13 rebounds in the pivotal June 13, 2022 matchup.

Calling his own number on a dribble handoff, the Cleveland Cavaliers big man decides to take flight, rising up in traffic over the San Antonio Spurs defense for a thunderous jam. Markkanen put in eight points and six rebounds, crucial in a 114-109 win on January 14, 2022.

Tyler Herro’s all-around game continues to evolve - the talented two guard has upped the ante in every aspect during his third year in the NBA. Herro notices a wide-open player on the break and perfectly times a beautiful block off the glass to prevent an easy score. Herro starred for the Miami Heat in their 115-91 victory over the Atlanta Hawks on January 12, 2022, finishing with 21 points, 11 assists and nine rebounds off the bench. 

The Golden State Warriors are well-known for their ability to light it up from deep, but they’ve also got players capable of flying high as well. Talented forward Juan Toscano-Anderson makes his name heard here, faking a dribble hand-off before taking off for a thunderous one-handed flush over the Philadelphia 76ers. Toscano-Anderson was a perfect six-of-six from the field, and finished with 13 points, six rebounds and six assists in a 116-96 blowout win on November 24, 2021.

With athletic forwards across their rotation, the Charlotte Hornets have players capable of creating a highlight jam at any time. Here, Jalen McDaniels gets his shot, using his speed to beat a closeout before rising up for a vicious tomahawk jam against the Denver Nuggets. McDaniels made good on the added playing time, with 12 points, six rebounds and a block in a 115-107 triumph on December 23, 2021.

Indiana Pacers rookie Duane Washington Jr. is rapidly developing as an instant-offense bucket-getter who can generate clean looks on his own. Washington Jr. catches the ball on the perimeter, makes a quick move to his left, then crosses into a nasty spin-stepback combo before dropping back for a jumper. Washington Jr. was a major contributor against the New York Knicks on January 4, 2022, producing a nice line of 17 points, four assists and two rebounds.
