LeBron James sizes up a defensive rebound as it caroms off the rim then immediately throws a perfect spiral down the court to a streaking Kentavious Caldwell-Pope on January 10, 2021. James put up 18 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in the Los Angeles Lakers’ win over the Houston Rockets.

LaMelo Ball has the length and awareness to be a problem in this league for a long time. The Charlotte Hornets rookie blows by his Oklahoma City Thunder defender on the perimeter, attacks the hoop and finishes with his off-hand for his first career bucket on December 26, 2020.

For half a decade now, two-time MVP and former Defensive Player of the Year Giannis Antetokounmpo has shown us glimpses of the legendary feats he's capable of, but in the waning minutes of Game 4 of the NBA Finals, he laid it out plain as day. With just over a minute on the clock and a two-point lead in a critical contest against the Phoenix Suns, Antetokounmpo flashes away from his man to provide help-side support out of a pick-and-roll, then immediately recovers to track down and thwart an alley-oop attempt between Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton. The instantly iconic July 14, 2021 rejection would play a major role in the win, allowing the Milwaukee Bucks to tie the series at two games apiece.

Tucker, then spins into an unforgettable fadeaway jumper. Durant’s deep two forced overtime in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals and he finished the June 19, 2021 contest with 48 points.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic watches Kristaps Porzingis roll perfectly out of a screen, then reaches way out around his defender to fire a sidewinding bullet pass to the wide-open center in the paint on January 20, 2021. Doncic walked away with a cool 13-point, 12-rebound, 12-assist triple double in the win.

The Brooklyn Nets star rushes from the help side to swat a Boston Celtics shot attempt off glass on one end of the court, then sprints 94 feet to cap off the ensuing fastbreak with a bucket. Durant finished with 24 points and three rejections in his team’s Game 5 victory in their Round 1 series on June 1, 2021.

Lillard dropped a grand total of 50 points in the March 16, 2021 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Atlanta Hawks guard slices into the paint against the Atlanta Hawks, draws the attention of Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, then tweaks a layup mid-air to fire a kickout pass to teammate John Collins in the corner. Young not only dropped 25 points in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on June 14, 2021 but tied a career high with 18 assists.

The Philadelphia 76ers center drives casually against the Chicago Bulls then creates space for himself with a step-back jumper for two of his 50 points in a February 19, 2021 win.
