The Houston Rockets brought their ever-so-clean Icon and Association jerseys back into the fold for the 2022-23 season, with the latest installment a simplified version of the red and white aesthetic the team has rocked for the past two decades. Appreciate the crisp lines of the white and the inclusion of black piping on the reds. With their Statement Edition jersey the organization leaned once again into the city’s connection to the space program, the color itself representative of the darkness of space with side paneling reminiscent of design patterns found on rockets. The organization’s City jersey features the remixed throwback jersey the team wore during the NBA’s 75th season, an homage to the pinstriped jerseys it featured at the turn of the millennium and the tilted wordmark the franchise rocked during its back-to-back championship heyday in the mid-90s. Lastly, the Rockets rewound the tape to Day 1 with its Classic Edition jersey, bringing back the green and yellow color scheme it debuted in San Diego way back in 1967.
