Navigating through both tight man-to-man defense and a quickly-ticking shot clock, Ivey turns the Kings’ defense into a traffic cone drill, artfully dribbling his way into a right-side drive before muscling into the paint for a clutch, off-hand finish. Ivey shared the floor with the NBA’s reigning Clutch Player of the Year, but February 7, 2024 belonged to him exclusively; shooting a perfect six of six, his 19-point fourth quarter nearly surpassed the Kings by his lonesome. Heroic in the win with two starters missing, the second-year guard recorded a career-high 37 points, six rebounds, seven assists, and five 3-pointers.
