If it can be accomplished on the NBA hardwood, it’s safe to assume that few will do it with the unique concoction of determination, creativity, and IQ that Josh Hart provides. In search of a bucket after a pick-and-roll opens the floodgates, Hart rewards his teammate’s textbook backdoor cut by rocketing a pinpoint, fire-breathing pass through the teeth of the defense, and just out of arm’s reach of an opponent, securing the highlight assist. On a night in which Hart continually found his fellow New York Knicks, history would find him, as the do-it-all swingman finished with 10 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists, fittingly becoming the NBA’s 10th player to reach those exact marks. Paired with two blocks and two steals, Hart’s all-purpose performance helped assure an eighth-consecutive win in a triumph over the Utah Jazz on January 30, 2024.
