Domantas Sabonis

Friday the 13th was not at all unlucky for Domantas Sabonis. An All-Star three times in his first seven seasons, Sabonis is a major problem for the Houston Rockets to deal with, as his unique offensive skill set helps the Sacramento Kings in a variety of ways. Sabonis is a threat to score from inside and outside, but his elite court vision sets him apart as he sets up multiple teammates to score with some highlight-reel assists. He also flexes his defensive muscles in coming up with a pair of steals and blocks each against the Rockets. All told, Sabonis recorded his fourth triple-double of the season with 19 points, 15 rebounds and a career-best 16 assists — becoming the second player in franchise history to tally 15 points, rebounds and assists in the same game. Not only that, but Sabonis joined Larry Bird as just the second NBA player since 1973-74 to record a 15/15/15/2/2 game, doing so in a 139-114 victory on January 13, 2023 that moved the Kings to five games above .500 for the first time since 2006 — the last time the team reached the postseason.
