Against the LA Clippers in this one, the four-time Golden State Warriors champion hit the 50-point threshold for the 12th time in his legendary career. Curry showed off his patented lightning-quick release from downtown as he torched the Clips for 8 triples in 14 tries, hitting step-back jumpers over Paul George, Ivica Zubac and anyone else the defense sent his way. Curry also showed off his evasive handles in attacking the lane, blowing by Zubac with an ankle-breaking maneuver that led to an underhand scoop shot. Curry also utilized a spin move that gave him enough space to stick a tough baseline fadeaway and proved elusive enough to split a pair of Clippers defenders on a strong drive to the bucket that resulted in a well-earned layup. An All-Star for the ninth time in 2023, the two-time MVP shot 20 of 28 for 50 points — 21 in an explosive third quarter — and also mixed in six assists and two steals on March 15, 2023.
