Somewhat of a “shooting star,” given his ability to light up scoreboards through a quick-motion deep-range release, Alex Reese found that if elevation were already inevitable, it may as well include a poster jam, too. Among the first to hit the ground running during the Philadelphia 76ers’ late-game transition adventure, the undrafted talent benefits from both a two-on-one numbers edge, and an unselfish teammate. 6-foot-9, and clearly unafraid to use it advantageously, Reese powers his way into a one-handed and-one facial over Onyeka Okongwu, collecting one of his rookie campaign’s best highlights. The postseason-bound Atlanta Hawks took hold of the last laugh through a victory on March 23, 2025, but Reese added to a streak that ultimately encouraged at least one made field goal in all 15 of his first-year appearances. The finish on this night included eight points (on three-of-four shooting), three rebounds, one assist, one steal, and a 3-pointer.
