An All-Star for a sixth straight year, the Philadelphia 76ers center averaged a career-high 33.1 points per game to claim his second consecutive scoring title. In 66 games Embiid scored at least 30 points in 44 of them, tied for second-most in the league. Additionally, his 13 40-point games were tied for third and his three 50-point performances were tied for second-best — he was also the third player in franchise history and third center in NBA history to record multiple 50-point games in the same season. Embiid posted nine 40-point, 10-rebound games in 2022-23, good for second in the league — his 35 career 40-10 games are also second-most of the modern era. He became the fastest player in franchise history to reach 10,000 career points, and he also owns the most all-time 40-point, 10-rebound, 5-assist games among 76ers players. Embiid led the team to 54 wins, making it the fourth time in the previous six seasons that Philly has won at least 50 games.
